The Reversible Flight Yokosuka Jacket is a two-way design combining the Yokosuka souvenir jacket with the CWU flight jacket adopted from the military in the 1970s. It speaks to an "ON & OFF" concept, portraying balance and unity like both sides of the same coin. Side A is constructed from a high-density Cebonner nylon satin that offers a lustrous feel, it utilises the difference in fibre length of the warp and weft threads to create texture and dimension. Side B resembles the look of vintage sukajan satin for a striking contrast and authentic feel.Ā
It's built with generous padding that creates a voluminous silhouette and plays into the aesthetic of traditional flight jackets.
