The Salomon XT-6 GORE-TEX has been a hit with fans ever since it received its namesake waterproof-breathable membrane upgrade a few years back.

While the material formula has remained unchanged—if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!—Salomon’s design team keeps finding new colour combinations to roll out for the next matcha (or mountain) run. Sticking to brown and caramel earth tones evocative of the brand’s outdoors roots, these XT-6s opt for a layered approach across their closed mesh and welded overlay uppers. Hardware such as the Quicklace system and Contagrip outsole are kept black for cleanliness. Of course, the hero here is the GORE-TEX technology inside. It’s GORE-TEX.
