GEL-Quantum Kinetic - Pepper/Cement Grey
The GEL-Quantum Kinetic combines pieces from ASICS' past to create something whichĀ looks as if it's from the future.
The upper is built using cues from several archival '00s product linesĀ āĀ namelyĀ GEL-NIMBUSā¢, GEL-KUSHONā¢, GEL-KINETICā¢, and GEL-KINSEIā¢ series models. The details work together in order to make something wholly new. The metallic overlays sit atop an airy mesh, channeling just as much nostalgia as it does airflow.
Where the uppers are a throwback bonanza, the midsole tooling is all-new. ASICS FF BLASTā¢ foam brings their performance cushioning to the forefront, but the real star of the show is GEL. This is called Scutoid GELā¢ ā a closely packed 3D geometry with an off-axis structure that was developed in cooperation with the ASICS Institute of Sport Science.
