GEL-Nimbus 10.1 GTX - Black/Pepper
Some 26 years old, the ASICS GEL-Nimbus was in its 10th iteration when it released in 2008. The swooping metallic panels, asymmetrical toe box and lashings of technical mesh all scream early-2000s.
Compared with the OG there's a twist. For the first time GEL-Nimbus is graced with a big-dog Kayano sole unitālifted from the GEL-Kayano 14, this GTX version also harbours a GORE-TEXĀ® membrane and branding to help keep your feet dry.Ā Whilst similar to the original tooling, the Kayano midsole adds extra GEL for max cushioning.
Uppers stay true to the original with plenty of mesh creating a shoe that somehow looks better than it did when it released.
